A Thousand of Tomorrows is a TV adaptation base on Karen Kingsbury’s best selling novel with the same title. It was a major launch for Pure Flix at the time. Since it was a high profile title, our goal as a creative team was to ensure that the marketing visual looked cohesive and and true to the story’s theme across every platform.
The story is about a daring bull rider and a kindhearted barrel racer who discover love, grace, and sacrifice while knowing their time together may be limited.
I had a great opportunity leading and creating the style guide for A Thousand Tomorrow’s social posts—something our team did not have in place before. It was essential for me to create a modern, relevant and warm identity while still respecting the Christian audience’s values. The show’s key themes are love, forgiveness and new beginnings therefore I drew inspirations from Nicholas Sparks’ films like A Walk to Remember and ‘The Notebook’. I crafted a modern, cinematic visual identity using elegant serif and cursive fonts, warm hopeful imagery. The campaign became one of Pure Flix’s most successful Instagram launch and helped make the show the platform’s #1 streamed title.
